This activity involves learners identifying vocabulary from the Samorost 2 game.



Correct order of the Samorost 2 story flashcards (left to right by rows).

Preparation
Print off (on card) a single copy of the 4 Samorost 2 Flashcards pages. Cut each page up into the 4 separate pictures.

Activity
Learners are shown the flashcard briefly, and if one of them can raise their hand and say five items of vocabulary that were on that flashcard. If they are right then you give the card to that learner and they get one point. e.g. A learner is shown the first flashcard and says the words "alien, tree, apple, grass and window" with good pronunciation then you give the card to them and they have to keep it. You then move to the next flashcard and repeat the process with a different flash card. Continue the activity until all the flashcards have gone. The learner with the most flashcards is the winner.

Post Activity
The learners with the flashcards have to get rid of them. To do this they hold the flashcard towards themselves and faces a group of other learners - preferably with no flashcards. The other learners then have to say two items of vocabulary that are are on the flashcard. If they are right then the learner with the card gives it to them.
