Relay ReadingThis is a featured page

Level: Intermediate +
Location: Computer room
Activity: Relay dictation
Language: Imperatives

This computer room activity is similar to a relay dictation. Learners work in pairs. One learner (A) sits at the computer and listens to instructions on how to play the game from their partner (B). Their partner (B) gets the instructions on how to play the game by reading a walkthrough of the game, remembering a section, and then returning to their partner to relay what they have read. The walkthrough can either be an electronic copy on the teacher's computer screen or a downloaded copy that has been printed and stuck on a wall.
