Preparation
Download and print a copy of Samorost 2nd Conditional. Make enough copies of the first page for each learner.
Learners take a pencil and copy of the worksheet to the computer room.

Play
1 Give each learner a copy of the Samorost 2 Conditional worksheet.
2 Learners read the worksheet and underline and language they don't understand. Help them understand language in feedback.
3 Go to the computer room and access the game by typing in KOMPOTARNA in the load level pop up window.
4 As learners play the game they complete the first part of the worksheet.
5 Monitor and when learners get to the factory scene stop them (turn the screen off) and ask them to do the next part of the worksheet.
6 When all learners have finished the second part of the worksheet they can switch their screens on.
7 Learners play the game and correct any mistakes they made in their prediction.
8 Feedback in the classroom.

Post play
Learners play the next part of the game and write 2nd conditional sentences on the game.
Focus on some aspects of the 2nd conditional.
e.g.
form 'If + subject + present simple, will + infinitive (without to)
meaning hypothetical situation in present or future.
punctuation condition, result BUT result + condition
