PreparationPrint off a copy of
Spot the difference with Samorost 2 for each pair of students and cut the two pictures out.
Activity1 Hand out the top picture (the first one) to each pair of learners and brainstorm vocabulary onto the board.
2 Ask pairs to write a predict about what will happen using some of the language on the board.
e.g.The monster in the ceiling will take Gnome (the name of the character wearing white).
The dog will run towards the sausage.
3 Hand out the second picture to your learners and ask them to write down what is going to happen by comparing it with the first picture.
e.g.The monster in the ceiling is going to take the monster in the chair.
The chair is going to be moved forward/ towards the television.

4 Swap pairs and learners help to expand their 'going to' sentences.
